I have a ***** case going with Absa. They have been beyond shocking about dealing with it. Not once has anybody from the bank even phoned me so I could talk to them about my case. They just came back twice with a settlement letter with some random amount which is half the amount that was ******.
They managed to recover R600, so my argument is if they could recover some, they should be able to track that beneficiary, due to FICA laws, so something is definately ******* in the bank if they could open and close beneficiaries so easily. But nobody is willing to talk about that.
Disgusted with ABSA to say the least, and will be closing my accounts.
