FORGET ABOUT BUSINESS - ABSA DOES NOT WANT IT

we run a business. On the 17th March 2026 we requested to bank guarantee from ABSA kindly note that this is a credit application and will take +-3/4 weeks to complete.

Today is the 25th May 2026.

We still don't have the guarantee.

It really feels like ABSA does not want a business to survive.

On the 16th April 2026 we requested to open a Depositor Plus account. An account which cannot be opened online.

Again, Today is the 25th May 2026.

We still don't have the depositor account and we are currently not earning a cent interest on our current account.
