Foreign Currency

I have recently returned from Scotland and had Sterling I wanted to exchange for South African currency. The lady at ABSA New Market Branch was not very helpful and said they do not accept all the banks notes of Scotland I was very surprised as it is British currency (Sterling) and Bank of England Bank notes.

I phoned Travelex at the Glen shopping Centre, they were so very helpful and I all my sterling notes was exchanged without any hassle. Thank you Travelex your staff are friendly and very capable, unlike the staff at ABSA Bank.
