Fixed deposit

I had a fixed deposit at absa for 12 months. After maturity nobody contacted me to inform me the deposit can be taken. The interest would have been R9000.00. Because i claim the money two months later i am penelised with R4500.00 on my interest. So for 12 months fixed deposit on R120000.00 you wil only get R4500.00 interest. Thus far the ***est bank in south africa. I am defenately taking my business elsewhere
