Fin. advice refused & then offered by Receptionist

I was at the Parow, Cape Town, ABSA branch this morning looking for financial advice regarding loans (doing my home work before deciding on what suites my needs). I was advised by the manager on the floor to see a consultant. I went to the consultant reception area and I was advised they won't see me if I don't have a payslip with me..... I advised her that I am looking for financial advice and she refused to let me see the consultant without my payslip (I've been with ABSA for over 10 years). I explained to her again why I would like to see a consultant and she then explained to me that there is no difference between the costs/interest rates/requirements etc of a revolving loan vs a personal loan and that they are in essence the same thing except for the revolving part.... (the floor manager was standing right next to me while this was happening and did not attempt to assist me AT ALL)<br> Just a quick search on the internet already highlighted a few major differences [URL Removed]<br> <br> I am appalled at the level of service I received/receive from ABSA.<br> <br> \Thanks ABSA
