FICA Requirements done a month ago

My son was unable to do transaction on his account for a while until I went to Absa to find out what is wrong. I was then told that I need to submit his birth certificate, my ID and proof of residence. That was done in Beacon Bay and again he was unable to use to his card even after that. On 21 December 2015 I went to Frere Square and produced all the documents again. I also mentioned that he was going to boarding school which is 550 km from home so I needed to make sure that his bank card is sorted out. Indeed I thought it was sorted out because he used it to withdraw money in December. He called me on Saturday, 23 January to tell me that he was unable to withdraw. When I checked with Absa Frere Square I was told that I need to submit the same documents that I already submitted in Dec for FICA. My son has been trying to withdraw cash in Durban since Saturday 23 January and he can't get access to his money. I have asked the lady who was helping me how often does Absa do the FICA? I am really running out of patience with Absa, I think it's time for a move. This is unacceptable.
