FICA Nightmare

I have full signing power and power of Attorney over my fathers account, as he is retired and often resides overseas these days , I recieved a notification a few months back stating they (Absa) require documents for Fica, which was submitted. The accouint has now been suspended due to "lack"of documents however for the last week, I have been mailing them not only all my documents , my fathers documents as well as letters from him re-stating him giving me full access over his accounts. Yet when I call ABSA Fica help they say they still have documents outstanding, now they also want my mothers documents something which was never asked for in the beginning, they also dont have any of my documents which I have sent to them and which they should have on their systems as my father and I went into the Centurion branch and submitted everything, ABSA FICA help has been no help whats so ever and I needed this account active last week to assist my father with and issue, and it is now a week later an no closer to a resolution.

Why does a bank make things so difficultg to sort out a simple issue . I personnaly do not bank with ABSA but I now understand why many people are leaving them.
