FICA locked account

FICA locked account

I have been back and forth with ABSA regarding my FICA locked account. At first they couldn't find my pending Visa ref number on the home affairs system. Now that they could, I then submitted all supporting documents at Alberton branch. They told me the account would be open within 24 to 48 hours. Its been more than a week since then. I have called multiple times to no avail. They keep saying FICA is a system not a person but what if there was an emergency and I couldn't access funds due to that said system. At what point does 24 - 48 hours actually take 24-48 hours. I am beyond disappointed. I just need access to my account.
