FICA issues

We went to Absa at Limpopo mall to do a club account FICA and change one signatory, we were told that the person we are removing must be present. We were not given any options but to leave. My questions are : what happens if the person has relocated? What happens if the person refuses to come with to bank? What options do we have to rectify the account? We have received e-mails saying that we have to FICA the account, how are we supposed to do that if the 3rd signatory is not available? Must we close the account and go to another bank because clearly our account will be locked and we won't have access. We need solutions not problems.
