Fax a Statement for a simple request to add debit?

I think you are the most stupid and absurd bank in the entire world! I called your call centre today to add my new banking details for a debit order on my credit card account with you. I am trying to have a debit order straight from my account instead of paying cash month and you are all telling me that i must send you my statement in order to have a debit order added to my credit card. HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT MAKING MY LIFE EASY??? worst experience ever. Now what i will tell you is that you will not smell my bank statement if you cant add a debit over the phone, the account is in my name!! I would rather make fire with the statement paper i will be charged for, than to send it to you people. Winter is on its way anyway. I want someone to call me and sort this out and stop being delayed.
