faulty atm

on the 18/12/2014 I went to deposit money at an atm at klipfontein witbank by mistake I punched it the wrong digits. the atm did not if me an option to verify if that was the right account number and I could not cancel the transection. I reported it and I and ever since I have not received the money. and the person that the money went to was not answering the phone. I was told the atm has not been working fine for a while.
