Family member ****med and not compensated

<p>My Gran lives in Thaba Nchu. This past Sunday she went to the atm and while trying to withdraw money she was surround for 2 men who imposed themselves to help her. They distracted her and stole her card. Another man then approached her and offered to 'help her cancel her card' via the atm cardless transaction. There was no security at all visible or present. Apparently there never is. She then went in yesterday to get a new card and was told R500 was taken out of her (not by her) and that it would cost R120 to get a new card. Which she obviously did not have. I want to know why there is not security at this atm? There is a standard bank literally across the street and even on Sundays there is ALWAYS a guard there. And why was she not compensated when it was clear that this was a *******/****. No one offered to look at footage etc or at least try to get to the bottom of this. </p>
