False info, inability to get call recordings

So I got my new vehicle financed by ABSA..... And months later (November) I receive a call from one of their consultants selling a "Credit Life policy" to me. Consultant kept selling this product with the premium of R2something cents. I don't normally look at statements of obviously due accounts but my bank statement showed that there was a very large extra amount debited (R809.55), whenever I called in I would be told to call days later "because as yet the debit order is not reflecting". And then down the line I receive a call from a consultant selling the very same product (This is when I started taking the matter more serious and remembered that I have not even received the documents!! In February I called in, cancelled it (policy) and requested for the call recordings so that I will have that extra money reversed..... Today its the 23 of April, have been calling since February almost every 2nd week and they are failing to assist, from my speculations they do not even have the recordings because the first consultant I spoke to (when I cancelled) he kept asking if I took the policy from the branch or received a call?!! What am I to do in this case?? How do I deal with such??
