FALSE ADVERTISING OF CASH BACK
Received an email from ABSA Vehicle Finance, that they will give me a cash back for buying my next car if I settle my current vehicle account and finance another car with them. I traded in my vehicle and refinanced with ABSA again, but now I apparently do not qualify for the cash back.

09 Nov 2024, 07:36Just to let everyone knows that ABSA is lying when they tell you you will get cashback if you finance with them again.
My account was with Toyota Finance (which is ABSA) and received the email from ABSA Vehicle Finance that should I settle this account and finance my new vehicle with them again I will receive a cashback.
So after a few emails back and forward there was several excuses why I do not qualify for the cashback.
First excuse was that my new contract started before the old account was settled, but I explained to them that I have traded in my old vehicle, so this was 1 transaction.
The Second excuse was then that the new car was with Ford Credit (Which is also ABSA, just like Toyota Finance)
Third excuse was that I was given a less prime rate on Ford Credit and they dont give cashback, they give better rates. (Which I also had on the Toyota Finance account)
So ABSA (Godfrey Ndou) decided they are not giving me the cashback based on the above.
It is FALSE ADVERTISING!! If Ford credit or Toyota Finance doesnt give cashback and is not ABSA as he claimed why sending me this email???
JUST A WAY TO GET A NEW DEAL!!!!!!!!!
