On the 5th August 2022, I app**** for an ABSA credit card from the EastGate branch. I was immediately informed that my credit card was approved and all I needed to do was wait for it to be delivered at the branch

Weeks would pass without a text message or any kind of indication from ABSA regarding the delivery of my credit card so eventually I drove to the branch to enquire about the status of it and I was told my the same consultant that assisted me in applying for the card in the 1st place (ABEL) that the card had not been delivered yet

A week later the consultant contacted me to inform me that the card had been declined, however the credit card was already reflecting on my credit report with all the major credit bureaus, I figured that over the next few days, it would be removed

Unfortunately by 10th September it was still visible on my credit report, even worse over the next few days it would fall into arrears and I started getting hounded by various ABSA consultants to make an immediate payment on the credit facility

I remind you, that as far as I was aware this account had been declined, so what exactly am I supposed to be paying for?

I once again visited the same branch again, when I was informed that indeed the card was declined and they will "escalate" the matter to get it removed from my credit report

This was in September, it's been over a month since and guess what?? The credit card is still on my credit report and is still incurring charges, it's been nearly 3 months since I app**** for this thing and it has been ruining my life ever since

What makes matters worse is that now I am NOT credit worthy due to this mess up

I cant buy a car or a house or request any kind of credit from any insitituition thanks to you guys!!!!

I want this credit card removed from my CREDIT REPORT immediately

COMPLETELY I WANT IT REMOVED!!!

You guys are ruining my life, I have maintained a perfect credit history until now
