Fair and Just Loss Adjuster sent by Absa Insurance

This review is solely for Schalk Hopkins of Absa Insurance who was sent by Absa to verify the losses I suffered at my property after a burglary. Schalk reassured me when I was very anxious that these things happen to people and that I should not be worried, everything will work out. He did not behave in a threatening or condescending manner even though some of the Claim Assessors treated me as if I was a ******** who caused my situation and were not responding to my emails. He did his work with the integrity expected of someone in his position and obtained all the evidence required for him to make a decision. He didn't come to my house only looking to protect the interest of Absa Insurance to look for way to avoid paying a valid claim but was fair to me as a client that has paying my insurance since 2007. Even though I am not totally happy with the way other staff at Absa Insurance have handled this claim, Schalk has been a true source of comfort during the process. Thank you Schalk, you became the human face during this process who reminded me that there are still fair , just and humane people in South Africa!!!
