Failure to adhere to customer request and provide feedback

ABSA bank authorised a debit order that I did not agree to, to go off my account. When I first went to the branch where I opened my account, the Rondebosch Cape Town branch, the consultant i spoke to, Fatima Martin sent me away and stated that the systems are offline. She did not bother to write the query down or indicate that she would follow up on the matter. She took my details down and said she would call me back, this never happened. I visited the branch again and spoke to another consultant who could not assist me but took my details down and said they would get back to me. No one got back to me. I filed a complaint via their twitter account, I was assured that they would look into the matter. The Rondebosch branch subsequently called me to sign a form for an unauthorized debit order, which I signed (end of November 2017) and I was asked to wait for 40 days for the outcome (even though I had been pursuing the matter since the beginning of October 2017). I filed another complaint in January of 2018 as I had received no feedback from ABSA and was called by the Rondebosch branch first week of January. I was promised a call back on the 12th of January 2018, I am still waiting and I have still not gotten my money back. In addition to their systems being offline, which was not my fault, my case has not been attended to at all. I have proof of this. The bank has consistently **** about pursuing the matter and each time I communicated with a consultant, no one knew what was going on with the investigation.
