Excessive and Unexplained Admin Fees on Premium Banking Account

Dear Absa Premium Banking Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the administration fees charged to my Premium Banking account over the past two years.

As a Premium Banking client, I understand that my account is subject to fixed monthly fees, including:

Monthly Account Fee: R240 Ledger Fee: R69 Administration Fee: Fixed or capped at R199

However, I have observed that the administration fee has been fluctuating significantly, with charges exceeding R1,000 in some months. This is contrary to the fixed or capped fee structure outlined in the Premium Banking package.

I am unable to find any communication or justification for these excessive charges. According to the information available on your official website, the Premium Banking package includes a fixed monthly account fee of R240, with no mention of variable administration fees.

I request a detailed explanation for these charges and a refund for all these overcharged amounts. I have been a loyal Absa client since 2012, and I am disappointed by these unexplained fees. It is *****ulent and unlike Absa.

Please investigate this matter and provide a response within 5 days. I expect transparency and a resolution to this issue.
