ESTATE LATE MRS SMM SCHOEMAN (POLICY NO: *** & ABSA ACCOUNT NO: ***) & MR BPD SCHOEMAN (ABSA ACCOUNT NO: ***)
Dear Sirs On 19 January 2024 I addressed an email to Absa bank who reverted with reference no. C-***8 ESTATE LATE MRS SMM SCHOEMAN (POLICY NO: *** & ABSA ACCOUNT NO: ***) & MR BPD SCHOEMAN (ABSA ACCOUNT NO: ***) ref:!00D1r01GluM.!5005q0ac3e5:ref.
On 25 January 2024 I addressed a further email to Absa to their National Deceased Estates department but haven't had the courtesy of a reference or a reply.
There is no Executor appointed only Letters of Authority and my client wants all premiums which Absa Life deducted for the deceased's policy after her demise from my client's bank account. Absa Life enriched themselves at the expense of my client and legal action will be taken should Absa not come to the table to refund the premiums deducted for 2 years after the demise of his wife from his account. Absa has merely turned a blind eye hoping this matter will be swept under the carpet. My client will not let sleeping dogs lie guaranteed.
Though the client received 23 months of the policy premiums, you as Absa failed to bother to get someone to revert to me with regards to the death benefits available under the deceased's bank accounts with Absa. I have called your branch, I have emailed Absa on various occassions and everytime you get a reference number but nothing gets done about it. ABSA NEEDS TO REPLACE THEIR STAFF WITH COMPETENT STAFF!!!!!! No-one seems to worry and not even ABSA themselves!!! SHAME ON YOU, YOUR SERVICES ARE PATHETIC BEYOND DESCRIPTION!!!!!!
