Enormous fees and Pathetic Service

<p>My cheque account charges statement is supposed to be emailed through to me on the 8th of each month. It had not been sent through to me this month and I had called in this morning, firstly having to speak to three different people and call back three seperate times as they do not know how to transfer a call to the relevant department, I spoke to Anna who told me that the pricing department was not yet in and that she will send an urgent email to them requesting them to email the charges statement to me as I need it urgently. I asked her to copy me in on the email and she told me that she was not able to do so. At 9:30 I called in again, still having NOT received the statement, spoke to Tebogo who told me that Anna did send the email but the pricing department has not responded, I told her that this was already established hence my call, I asked if I could speak to some one in the pricing department, she told me that I could not, I asked her what I need to do as I require the charges statement urgently, she said I need to wait as there is a 48 hour turnaround period (which ANNA did not tell me!) she said unfortunately there is nothing I can do, and when I asked for her manager she cut the call! Appalling customer service to say the least! I pay a lot of money each and every month for my Absa Cheque account charges and a simple task such as emailing the charges statement to a customer seems to be such a difficutl task for the people who work and represent ABSA BANK LTD. Will defintely be shopping around for an alternate bank who can at the very least send through my statements timeously!</p>
