Empty 5-7 days promise, ************* bank
On the 22nd of May 2026, I paid off my vehicle loan from ABSA, I wrote here on hellopeter that I was unable to reach ABSA for the paidup letter and the NATIS documents, I was later called by the complains manager who provided the paid-up letter and indicated that the documents would be delivered to ABSA branch in Meyerton as per my request, I was told that it will take 5 to 7 working days. I am writing today on the 11th day as I have not received my documents as promissed and there is no-one updating me of what delayed the 5-7 days. If I was owing ABSA I would have received over 20-45 calls by now.

08 Jun 2026, 12:45In addition to the above message, today I received a statement that shows that the very same ABSA Vehicle account was paid an additional R2685.46 and yet I was told that the account was closed now I have an advance on the closed account.
