Editable Proof of payments

Today our company nearly got *****ed for R64000.00 due to your gross negligience and lack of concern for clients or general public.

We noticed on the proof of payment sent to us that the font was not in line.

On inspection of the proof of payment it was noted that your proof of payment pdf from Absa is easily editable with a PDF software editor. How can this happen? We even thought to double check and chose a legitimate PDF proof of document and even that was editable to the same font- how can you even allow this to happen.

Other banks such as FNB offer security lock pdf documents as proof of payment- this is outrageous. Grossly unprofessional. Its almost like Absa condones ********** activity on their PDF'S.

Furthermore we still tried to contact Absa to confirm the payment and we were told that we would only be able to find out when we received the monies and that you need confirmation from your clients to confirm a payment. Your call centre confirmed the transaction as legitimate. We have confirmed that the number we called is an Absa number ********** 600.

Other banks are able to confirm these kind of transactions where you are not.
