I bought a car in 2005 through Absa Vehicle finance with credit insurance. In 2008 I lost my income totally and notified them where after I was informed that the insurance kicked in. Due to my circumstances the license of the car fell in arears and due to that the car was deregistered on default. During December 2019 I paid the arrears, obtained a roadworthy certificate as well as a police clearance. Before all of that I requested the registration papers from Absa but was informed that the account was long ago closed and I was requested to contact their archive who then informed me that the file was sent to their legal section and nobody can assist me in obtaining a duplicate registration paper. I am currently trying to reregister the vehicle but the licensing department refuse to assist me without a copy of the registration papers. I phoned the call center but their system does not recognize my ID and I am in urgent need of such duplicate papers. The car in question is an Opel Corsa 2005 model with registration RWP721GP. System Reg no DVD421S and it was bought by Andriesw Louw Id No ***
