After receiving an e-mail from ABSA platinum banking regarding the changeover from Priority pass to Dragonpass which was to happen on 01 Nov 2015, I tried to register using the link provided. Only to be told that my details do not match. These details being my name, date of birth and postal code - all of which I can certainly remember.
After a written complaint, I was phoned from the UK by a Mark Koch, the CEO of Dragonpass and I was promised heaven and earth. After this, I could at least access the site and could register. Registration requires my e-mail address and a password.
However, trying to access the site via my mobile phone was impossible, as my e-mail address was not 'valid'. After downloading the app, I could also not log in using the registered detail.
As a frequent traveller, I now have membership to a program that I cannot use.
Dragonpass's predecessor - Priority pass - issued me a membership card, without question. Dragonpass wants me to to access internet sites and apps and I also have to apply for a membership card (which I will not have for my next business trip). The temporary card - downloadable from net - looks like a pre-schooler's project.
Wake up ABSA!
