Drafting of a will

We (my uncle and I)took in our grandmother to make a will today at ABSA Wonderpark. I was shocked to see that we were allowed to be in the same room as my grandmother during the process. Two days before the meeting I requested the advisor to organise an interpretor as my grandmother doesnt understand English. My uncle and I were requested to be interpretors in the meeting. The advisor is not aware that there is a fight in the family regarding the estate. As my grandmother was talking regarding the Beneficiaries, my uncle was objecting to what she was saying, he proposed the benefiries and he wanted his son to also be included. I had to ask the advisor if he get an interpretor within the bank so that my uncle and I get be excused from the meeting because he was influencing the Will.

I was disappointed at the conduct of the Financial Advisor he was too casual. He does understand that in our culture we kill one another over the estate. I propose that in future only the person that is drafting the will and the advisor must be the only ones in the meeting.
