Double Deduction - Uncleared Amount - I want my money back that budgeted for travel expense to work

This bank is messing with my life. i don’t even know how to explain this but money is just vanishing from my account. First they deduct instantly, then again from uncleared funds, and now my main account also affected. It’s like double deduction for every single transaction. I am broken now, no money left to go to work, to eat, to even survive. I called, tried to log a case, they don’t care. The consultants sound like they just want to end the call, no help, no solution, just **** promises.

I’m on debt review, already struggling to breathe financially. Now you take more than what I have? For almost 2 months now this thing is happening. I checked other reviews, seems I’m not the only one, but nothing is being fixed!! Is this a looting strategy? Why is there no urgency for real people who are suffering because of your systems????

Please I need my money back. I need answers. I'm stressed and hopeless. This is not fair.

Uncleared payments
I have four payments that are uncleared from Uber Eats and Checkers in my bank account. I have followed up with service providers and confirmed that I was not charged on these four occasions as the goods were not delivered. However,ABSA has not released these monies back to my account some for more than a month and one for three months. Isn't the bank supposed to release money back my account if the third party has not claimed the funds for over 30 days.

This is now beyond painful. Absa has double deducted money from my account for over 3 months — I’ve lost more than R5000, and it might even be more. Every time I use my card, there's an immediate deduction, then again from uncleared funds, and somehow it reflects as taken from my main balance too. I can no longer even track where my money is going. It's like I'm being looted silently.
I'm broke. I don’t have money to get to work anymore. I’ve had to borrow to survive, and I’ve reached a point where I have nowhere else to turn. I’m already under debt review, and this situation is pushing me into full collapse.

I’ve tried calling your consultants — they just leave it hanging, no urgency, no feedback, no justice. I’ve looked at reviews from other customers, and it’s clear I’m not the only one.

Just look at Ayanda’s review: It took months for Absa to return money for undelivered goods that were never claimed by the merchant. Is this a pattern now?

How can a bank hold on to people’s money like this with no accountability? You are destroying lives. I trusted Absa with my finances and now I feel ****** by the very institution that is supposed to protect me.
Release my money. Fix your systems. Take responsibility. Or are you waiting until people are homeless and starving before you act?
