Dormant Cheque Account

I opened a 32 days acc Online however I wanted to monitor my 32 days account. In order for me to do so I downloaded the App. Opening an App with ABSA one needs a Cheque account. In this case I opened one to create the App to monitor my 32 days account. Recieved a text that I needed to collect my card when I went to the branch I told them I don't need the card or the account may they kindly close the account. That was not done now ABSA has decided to hand me over to MBD that I'm owing them. What am I owing when I stated that I did not require the card. How do you hand someone when there is no transaction. May you kindly sort this out as it is affecting my credit score for no reason!!!!!
