Dont take absa student loan, unless you want to be financially crippled no regard for trainees or interns.

ABSA student loan division is the worst. I took a student loan study, and thus had to start repaying last year whilst still doing my articles. My father was assisting in payment , as my surety. Now that his no longer working i had to pay it all myself. I went to the branch to ask to pay 2600, instead of 3200, for the next 18 months before i qualify as a CA , cause thats what I can currently afford, and they said its not possible to extend duration . How is it not possible? Went to another branch, they say call student bureau. I called the student bureau and they couldnt help either. Its not like im saying i dont want to pay. Why does ABSA not make provision for people still doing learnerships, articles etc. Im only asking for it to be lowered for the duration of my training. Is that hard to do . I also have a student loan at standard bank and they allowed me to pay less till i finish articles. Why is absa not considerate?
