DON'T CHOOSE TO BANK WITH ABSA

Banking costs are insane. They take their monthly account fee and then near month end an admin charge for various stuff like the notification for proof of payment, electricity bought via the app ect. Penalties for declined debit order is R150 per transaction. I mailed absa telling them my salary date changed. Just guess who ran a debit order on Sunday 21 January. Another penalty for my after a communicated with them. The past year my banking costs were between R500 and a R1000. Other banks fees are much lower. When you mail Absa you can expect a delayed response. I am done, I cannot budget properly and bearly survive each month. I am changing banks asap.
