Dont choose Absa for your Homeloan!!!

I have had my bond with Absa for almost 8 years and not once have I requested a rate review. I have never missed a payment or even paid late. I understand that when I got my initial high interest rate, as I was a new customer and the risk was high. I have proven for years now that I am a good payer. They are not even willing to go down .25? Even after all the rate increases the past year. My current interest rate is ridicously high. I guess there is no reward for being a good payer. Considering my small bond, a rate decrease would barely be +/- R100, but Absa would not even want to do this to reward a loyal payer. If you have a choice, dont go with Absa Homeloans!
