Dont bother taking ABSA insurance... rather go to Outsurance

Lets start by saying.... ABSA please do not contact me.. I will be lodging the case with the Ombudsman. I'm just making public, so that no one should be in this situation. Absa insurance is useless.

I tried the normal channel to address my Motor vehicle claim. The staff lies, and does not get back to you. They wanted proof of employment when making claim regarding an accident. This I find strange.

The are not covering everything that is damage on my car, and refused to give me an explanation.

I logged it with the complaints department, who referred me to the assessor. I email the assessor, who did not respond.

I followed up with the complaints department again, who followed up with the assessor who followed up with panel beaters. The car is not at the panel beaters. Its still in my possession damaged.

The only response that I got, they claim is in order with no changes.

I requested to know how did they come to that conclusion, and once again, they do not respond to me.

Just a few months ago, I had a problem with rewards programme, now this... I been banking with Absa for years, guess its time to move my business to another bank.
