***** Credit Card claims

My Mother passed away in 2014, I was made Executor of her paltry estate (she died with literally nothing). She had a credit card which we "cancelled" at the time. 5 years later, I received a notice from ABSA that there were outstanding funds on this credit card for over R1000. I went into the ABSA branch and personally paid the outstanding amount and AGAIN requested that this credit card be cancelled.

Today, many months later, I have received YET ANOTHER notice that there are outstanding funds on this credit card.

What the hell ABSA??? Either someone is not doing their job, or something else is on the go here! I simply cannot continuously be held responsible for what I can only describe as YOUR complete incompetence.
