Do not want to pay out valid claims

I needed to put in a claim for own and similar occupation disability on my Absa life@ ease policy. My policy states sum insured for R500 000. I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and started my chemotherapy in January 2017.This treatment/s leaves you physically impaired temporarily and unable to work at my full potential. I called Absa life call centre and was told I cannot claim. Then I called ABSA branch to speak with Dominique Laurence on 1 February 2017 but he was busy with a client so I followed up with an email on the same day. I got no response. Today I have sent him a letter from my oncologist confirming my state of health and that I will be unable to work while on treatment. Why is it always difficult to claim but easier to sign you up and take your money! I am very ill and have no source of income to sustain myself and my boys

I was contacted by Margaret Maisela and sent a 26 page document. I have given my motivation from my Oncologist and supp**** my his to pathology report. Everything but a lengthy questionnaire that my Dr is expected to complete. Really ABSA you making it very difficult to claim. I started this enquiry a month ago already! This is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. You made lots of money since inception of this policy and now that I am ill and I battling to claim. I do not have the energy to fight so do the right thing and honor what the policy states
