Do not try to close an ABSA account.

If I could if ABSA a negative rating I will. This is the worse bank with the worse service. Do not try to close an account with them. It will not work. They will keep it open and charge you bank cost without notifying you. So the account goes into arrears and you owe them money. Then when you find out that this account was not closed, even though it was closed on more than 1 account they cannot help you on a Saturday because then credit people only work from Monday to Friday. Such bad service, even eskom is better.
