Do not try to call ABSA ***** line. I called on 25 April 2018 and after 12 minutes gave up and tried again thinking I had dialled the wrong number. After another 15 minutes I finally got an answer. I was re-routed to another section and waited and waited and finally the line just went dead!!

Luckily for me, it appears that there was not anything missing from my bank account, but if it had been a real emergency, the ***** line was taking way to long to respond.
