Do not take vehicle finance with Absa
Their service is terrible. They show no empathy when resolving complaints and they not apply the TCF outcomes. I wish the FSCA would investigate them thoroughly and give them a hefty fine. They are only good for deductions on your Acc nothing more. I paid for roadworthy when I bought my vehicle. I had to pay for roadworthy again because they decided to change the ownership without contacting me. Is it rocket science for you to communicate with your clients? A simple phone call would have avoided all of this. But you would rather let me pay additional fees and not contact me to discuss it with me.

03 Dec 2024, 16:11The reason for my review is because there is a clear gap in your process which you as a business is failingto acknowledge and fix. I incurred fees which could have been avoided had Absa contacted me to ask if they should keep the vehicle in my husband's name and explained the costs involved for changing it to my name. I trusted that me buying a vehicle through Absa would be seamless, but it's not. It costed me as a Absa client unforseen expenses which could have been avoided. And now Absa is washing there hands and saying they blame the dealership. I don't care who is to blame. I incurred unplanned costs that could have been avoided had this process been seamless. Do you have any idea how much running around I had to do to sort this out. It's your mess Absa. Clean it up!
