Do not do Bonds with ABSA.
We received a bond quotation from ABSA that we signed and approved. They did not include the deposit we paid so changed the bond by the amount we used as a deposit to get a better rate. Now after they amended the amount they are not honouring their rate and the percentage changed by 40%! and they are saying they will not change the amount to the amount we agreed upon and signed for. We have changed our banking to ABSA but regret this. ABSA does not honor their agreements.
