Do not choose ABSA when working abroad

I tried to log onto ABSA tonight as I had to transfer money urgently. Got the message: Sorry for he inconvenience. with an 0800 number to dial in case of emergency. Looked under International caller and the same 0800 number.

1)First of all, could we not have been informed that there will be a break in internet service? 2)Second, does ABSA not know 0800 numbers cannot be called from abroad? 3) The number on the website ( ********** 110) is for international callers, yet one has many options if you phone that - also for national callers. I have complained about that number before because it is not a number for international callers only, and phoning from abroad one has to listen to numerous promotional messages and music - which is costly! And on that complaint I did received feeble feedback ABSA is not the bank to use when working abroad!
