Disvalued customer

<p>I swear if I'd have to listen to the tone of "Dear Valued Customer" once more, since I've experience quite the opposite, I'll blow a gasket! I've been a loyal customer for years but have been failed by your service numerous times. With being away on holidays out of the country, I thought it best to pay for swiping fees rather than pay up to my ears for currency exchange cost (suggested from someone tgatbusually does this with her bank provider). Little did I know, like many times before in SA, ABSA will decide to put a hold on my card- why heavenly only knows as I'm the only one that handles it. I e-mailed them to ask for it to be removed only to be directed and redirected for the umpteenth time with no success. Rather than resolving the issue, I was told they only deal with customers "in front" of them despite me telling them I'm out of the country with absolutely NO MONEY. If this was the first time maybe I'd be more understanding... But a little over a month ago I had to pay for a new card because the old one kept getting put holds on, eventhough I used my card in the same area all the time. I'm absolutely fed up with ABSA as I've always been told how bad their service is but I've decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since they're the only bank I've ever banked with. Needless to say I'm starting to reconsider. Not only are my emails being ignored but the "new" online banking site is an absolute nightmare! Do yourself a favour and NEVER bank with them if you're looking for value added services, rapid assistance of any sort, looking to save money...anything really...JUST DON'T! You'll thank me in the long run...</p>
