Distributing my personal information

I received a call on Friday from a company by the Name of Teletech who are calling on behalf of Absa trying to sell me insurance on my credit card - the issue here is that they new what my credit limit is on my credit card. There is a thing called the POPI act which prohibits personal information to be distributed without my explicit permission. I have lodged a complaint with your complaints department however it is now Wednesday and still no feedback has been given. !!!!
