Dissapointment
I have sold my house that I had a bond with ABSA. There was a shortfall that I needed to pay. I have signed an AOD form which was sent through the transferring lawyers with the payment arrangements. I notices that no deduction was made then I did a follow up with ABSA home loans and they said they did not receive anything. I went back to the lawyers who confirmed that for the bond cancellation to happen they had to submit those documents. There is no way that the Bank did not receive them. I wrote back to the bank now they are asking me for buyer's ID and I am asking myself for popi act how can I have such documents. All I want is for the shortfall to be deducted.

I have been trying to get hold of ABSA today. I wrote several emails as well because they are confusing me now. They sent a repayment statement with a totally different arrangement to that of an AOD form. I was told that this amount has no interest now ABSA has extended the payment plan and included interest. Kindly please assist by clarifying what is it changed now. On my emails I attached both AOD form and the statement for ABSA to rectify the mistake. I have been calling *** with no luck as I have been put through various departments that could not assist me.
