Disrespect Clients

Friday 29 January, end of month and 4 cashiers on duty. 3 Lines of clients waiting. No monitoring of this situation, No supervisor in sight. I stood in this Q for one hour to withdraw R5 coins. Long waiting is due to: Retailers banking piles of cheques, cashiers having to help reigners who do nott understand English, transactions which need special attention, and teller 4 closing her window frequently to count bags of coins and speak on a phone. Does this kind of holdups not require monitoring and organisation by a supervisor? Special transactions need specific cashiers/windows. Why do the majority of Absa branches operate in this way? Subjecting clients to this kind of service, is disrespectful and an insult. I have taken this kind of bad service up with many branches of Absa in the past, but still no improvement. I went to Standard Bank as well yesterday. Absa is stagnating. Standard Bank is going forward as part of a fast developing society. I will approach Standard Bank now and ask them to help me change banks and my investments. I am retiring this year and Absa has failed to meet my in-banking expectations of Client/Customer Servive for too many years now.
