Disgusted!!!

<p>So i've had a virgin money credit card for the past 10 years. I've never had any issues with this account until now.</p> <p>For as long as I've got this card I've been making payments into this account when I get paid or the next working day, which is the 20th. Not once did anyone from VM contact me to tell me that this is a problem as the payments are being made before the statement date. I was sent a message to contact VM urgently this week and when calling the number got through to ABSA's collections department. The woman I spoke to (Denise) advised me that I had a balance of R56 outstanding and that I have been listed with the Credit Beaurau for late payment, even thou I had made a payment of R800 into the account the month before. I told her that I had just transfered R1000 into this account and she told me she would make a note of it, but because the payment was made a day before the statement date and the R56 installement had to be paid by the 15th of the month that R800 payment did not count. I was so furious as I've never had this problem before and the fact that she found my frustations funny did not sit well with me either. I now am listed as a late payer where I have always paid way more than my installment amount into this account every month. I am highly disgusted by this and will be paying off the balance on this account and closing it off. I want nothing to do with Virgin Money or ABSA if this is the type of service I get. I will happily take my money somewhere else...........</p>
