Disappointing service

I paid off credit card and closed it over a year ago. It still shows as not paid and open on the ITC report.A consultant that I spoke to at the time of payment assured that my name would be cleared within 3 months. This has now given me bad credit record and cant get credit with other bank including Absa as a result. I have not found this bank helpful even when I tried applying for a credit card with them. Best to move my account to another bank
