Disappointed with Absa treatment

I've been an absa client for over 30 years with no issues. Last December (2024) I got a call from an impersonated Absa employee who committed to helping me claim my absa rewards before I forfeit them at the end of the month. He gave me a ref number and employee number, also said he is a senior supervisor in the rewards dept. He sounded convincing, and i trusted him.He said he could see my credit card is well handled, and I deserve the reward. He knew the system, he knew me, made me open the app, click on "no *****" icon. He cleaned out my credit card by buying things from Joburg, while i was in Pretoria, went to my cheque account and withdrew money. Records show he was at Joburg computicket. I reported to absa, to the police, and obtained all the relevant documents. I'm disappointed that absa informs me that the ***** was not committed by any of their staff members when I had my cards with me. One of their investigators is not even available to interview me. Everytime i call im answered by different staff members who tell me MrJJ is the only person to give me the details. Im stressed, im devastated. Im now faced with paying for a credit card I did not use. The ****** money is meant to pay for my chronic medication. I'm a pensioner. What happened to the motto of : Your story matters? To who does it matter?
