Disappointed with ABSA

Banking app not working I was told to go to the branch to register the new account for banking app I went today 25/04/26 when I got to the branch I was told that they can’t assist as 1 person is working at branch and they need another person to authorise, I explained that I have payments to make, I even tried to call without any help, now my question is, why are branches opened on Saturdays if they can’t assist and now that I can’t pay my debts on time is absa going to be liable for the arrears that I will be getting for not paying on time?
