Disappointed :-(
What a pity that simple processes have to get to a point of a public complaint. Absa's Building Loan application process has proven itself to be extremely disorganised adding unnecessary stress to an already very stressful process - building,

This is the second request for progress payment (the first was a very similar experience)
We are at roof height, doors and windows in, one month away from move in date - we are due a large payout.
I asked the Absa consultant which documents will be needed, a list was provided, and I supp**** the documents. When the evaluator visited the property he said that he needed an engineer's letter for the roof (this was not in the list of documents). we arranged to get this, but in the mean time a payment was actioned - before we were able to submit the engineer's letter. The payment was extremely small.
Then a whole new request for progress payment was opened, resulting in further delays, and signs of a new evaluation visit.
This has put unnecessary stress on me and on my builder, and both of our finances.
The communication has been difficult, and slow.
