Disappearing money
On wednesday 20 feb on my banking app i accidentally transferred R1000 from my savings account to my (closed) credit card, instead of my cheque. I called absa at 10:30 and the lady said she will do a journal to reverse it, it will be done within 24 hours. I called to follow up on the 25th at 9:20 because no money was returned and the credit account shows zero balance now. The lady Crizelle Herb**** said she will look into it and call me back the same day. I called again at 14:45, after a 45 min call and hold. The man said he can't see any proof there was money in the credit account and transferred me to debit dept. Still nothing resolved. Where is my money and how do i get it back?

Thank you for your reply. I have once before accidentally transferred money to this account as well, but it was a small amount so i didn't follow up. But this time its a large part of my salary. Hopefully we can sort this out asap.
Kind Regards Shirleen
