went to the somerset west branch to enquire about moving my account from my old bank.<br> got very nice service by being approached in the cue to enquiries and told to come with a gentleman to see a consultant. <br> i told her I'm not a citizen but full residence and that i get my salary sent in every month from abroad since i work away. she said that is not a problem and explained everything.<br> i then went to a couple of other banks to see what they had and when i came back after deciding to go for ABSA i was with an other consultant since the one i saw earlier was occupied.<br> when i sat down with her i was told i can not get what i was told earlier and she said the other consultant was wrong. it would take much longer time to get an account and it would only be a temporary one. since i don't have that much time here i had to walk out. <br> i not only wastes time with this bank but i also missed setting it up with my second choice since they said we had to do it immediately so they could get me everything in time since i am about to travel again.
