Deliver method for credit cards

This complaint was submitted to their ABSA Action line email but as I note others indicate they only get automated emails from there and I could not find any other place to submit a complaints I am submitted it on this platform.

I have just spoken to the company that are responsible for delivering my credit card and I am not happy.

Firstly: I get an SMS today (24 Feb) informing me they are trying to get hold of me and that I should call them to confirm delivery of my card.
Should they not at least phone me before sending sms's ? One is very reluctant to act on sms's and I dont think this should be the method of communicating with a banks customers.

Secondly: When phoning them I was asked whether or not I want my card delivered to my home or business address. Obviously one choose your business address as that is where you are most of the day. When I informed the operator of my working hours I am informed, it does not matter
as anyone can sign for the delivery. Can one believe this in the day and ages we are living in !!!! Why give me choose then of where to have it delivered.
Why don't the bank choose the delivery address and then just inform me where to collect it, seeing that anyone can just sign for your card !!! I have had more simple things delivered to me where I had to give a copy of my ID proving that I was the person accepting the deliver.

Honestly I am shocked and disgusted in this whole process and cannot believe that other people are accepting this.

I would like a detailed explanation of what happens if the delivered card do not reach the owner and any ***** occurs with this new card ?
